My Confessions

As each day goes by, I continue to learn what a Reporter and Anchor does and what it means to be one and I am happy to say I now get to share these moments with you.

These are my confessions. My moments out in the field reporting or in studio anchoring. They could be embarrassing, funny, things I didn't expect, hard times, or about interesting people I am meeting along the way.

I am very excited to take this journey with you!!
Feel free to comment, ask questions, make suggestions... or just anything at all!

Always,
Maria

  1. I believed and I still believe that every moment is there to be savored, to be improved upon, and invested with humor, beauty and solemnity. Many people fail to understand the inherent nature of animosity along the way to success. We don't ever get to skip a single part and sort of fast forward to the more pleasant moments in life to come. Everyday we must strive to reach our goals and succeed; furthermore, success, in my view, is the constant willingness to strive for something you really want. The person not reaching the top is no less a success than the one who achieved it. They both put in their blood, sweat and tears to overcame obstacles and fears. The failure to be perfect does not mean you're not a success; consequently, success is a direct measure to you effort.

  2. What I'm saying Maria is that you are the model of success because of the effort you put in. Your blood, sweat and tears are reflected in your work. It takes a strong person to set aside their fears to reach out and grab what they want. You have the rambunctious attitude that screams, "I don't care if I'm tired, stressed, overloaded, or perplexed... I am going to Succeed!!!" If only we could infuse todays generation with your drive, there would be an abundance of accomplished individuals. It is pleasure to view your material. You present the facts in the peoples language with so much energy, commitment, paroxysm. I am proud that to say that KRBC has one of the most passionate reporters/anchors. I admire your determination; in conclusion, It will be exciting to see a great reporter/anchor become one of the GREATEST!!!!!
