If you watch KRBC News, you know that Ronald McDonald has been taken from Safety City!
In case you aren't sure what he looks like, that's my amateur sketch.
According to the police report Ronald was taken from Safety City sometime between Friday and Monday.
But who could've taken him?
The King (Burger King) did steal the McMuffin Recipe recently.. hmmmm.. kind of sketchy.
No all kidding aside, the statue is valued at $5,000.
If you have any information you are asked to call crime stoppers!
But let me know who could have taken Ronald McDonald!
Ok- so to me (a native Abilenian) this is very upsetting! Before Ronald was housed at Safety City he was at the outdoor playground at the McDonalds on Buffalo Gap....for those of you to young to remember or even know- that McDonalds didn't always have an indoor playground, or really a playground at all! It was a bunch of statues (like the now missing Ronald McDonald) and a giant Hamburglar that you could climb up into (or maybe it was the Grimice- it have been over 15 years since they changed it up)- but the point is- is that statue is a part of my childhood and it ticks me off that someone would just take it!!!
